5 Things You Need to Know This Week

Meeting to address deer population, art show and final day of library book sale

1. Highland Heights City Council's Committee of the Whole will meet at 8 p.m. Tuesday. The agenda includes the municipal green space development plan and deer population.

2. Mayfield school district art show is open in the atrium of Hillcrest Hospital. A Decade of Art is the district's 10th annual show featuring 361 works from students in kindergarten through 12th grade.

3. The final day of the Friends of the Gates Mills Library Book Sale is today. Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. It's bag day – fill up a bag for $5.

4. Mayfield Village Council meeting date has been changed. Instead of tonight, the meeting has been rescheduled to 8 p.m. April 25.

5.  The Cleveland Metroparks North Chagrin Reservation will have a Spring Cookout at the Nature Center from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday. Sit around a campfire and enjoy hot dogs, chips and roasted  marshmallows. Cost is $2 for adults, $1 for children. To register, call 440-473-3370.
