Mayfield Schools Fall Family Festival Set for Saturday

The event begins at noon at the Environmental Education Center in Gates Mills.

Hayrides, costumes and pumpkins are coming to Gates Mills Friday at the Mayfield Schools Fall Family Festival.

The event is set for noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Environmental Education Center, 390 County Line Road. The festival is free, open to the public and will go on, rain or shine.

Presented by the school district and the Mayfield Alliance, the festival will be highlighted by a kid's costume contest and parade at 2 p.m. Children, ages 12 and under, are encouraged to dress as their favorite ghost or goblin.

Pumpkins, apples, baked goods and arts and crafts will also be on sale. Hay rides will be available, as well as animals from Ponyland Petting Zoo.
