Highland Heights Resident Wins 'Dream House'
Mike Caine can either keep the Concord Township home or take a $200,000 cash prize.
A Highland Heights resident had the winning touch Sunday, as he turned the key that ended up winning him a luxurious home in Concord Township.
The Lake County YMCA announced Mike Caine as the winner of the 2013 Dream House winner Sunday following the finalist event at the home, 10220 Karaboo Trail. Caine has the option of keeping the home or claiming a $200,000 cash prize.
“We would like to take the house, its gorgeous and with our baby on the way, the nursery is great," he said according to the YMCA. "We are so excited. We’ve always loved the Y and supported the Dream House project.
"We can’t believe we won."
This year's contest had 60,000 entries. Funds from the contest have totaled about $3.8 million since it began in 1993. This year's house was built by Enzoco Homes.
