Let the debates begin! Join Patch for a screening of the first 2012 Presidential Debate.

We’re screening the debate at Nighttown, 12387 Cedar Road in Cleveland Heights on Wednesday, October 3. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. and the debate begins at 9 p.m.

We’ll serve up free appetizers and have large-screen televisions to view the debates, as well as an election trivia contest and prizes. We’ll also be live-Tweeting and posting on Facebook from the event. And of course, there’ll be coverage on Shaker Heights, Cleveland Heights and Beachwood Patch.

Bring your smart phone, iPad or laptop and join the conversation online -- join in and make your voice heard. It’s your town, and the community is listening.

Reservations are required and the $5 cover will go to benefit the Friends of Cleveland Heights-University Heights Library.

Nighttown is a full-service, white tablecloth restaurant in Cleveland Heights on Cedar Road. Patrons can hear live jazz. There are four different dining rooms and three full bars. The restaurant will accomodate guests wanting to have private parties such as: birthdays, wedding showers, bar/bat mitzvahs, or company parties. Nighttown has a long-standing history in Cleveland Heights and has been open since February 5, 1965.
