The Cleveland Browns have sold the naming rights to their stadium. What do you think about the new name?
Cleveland Browns Stadium is no more. From now on, fans will watch Cleveland football games at FirstEnergy Stadium.
On Tuesday afternoon, Browns owner Jimmy Haslem announced that Akron-based FirstEnergy Corporation was awarded the naming rights to the football stadium.
It is the first time in franchise history that the Browns stadium has a corporate name, joining the ranks of other NFL teams who have done the same, according to The Plain Dealer.
They reported that no details of the agreement between the two parties were disclosed.

This past decade we have bought energy efficient appliances paying more money for them; we have changed our light bulbs to save energy; we are forced to spend time picking the least expensive intermediary gas and electric source and sometimes make a mistake. In the meantime our bills have gone up and the utility consumer has no recourse but to pay the bills or lose the utility. Now we are being forced to subsidize the Haslam Foundation; If he could not afford to buy this losing team he should have staid in central Ohio with gas stations.
