Week in Review: Mayfield Football, Taste of Victory, Car Show, Superintendent's Letter, Dog Doings

Here’s what happened in the Mayfield-Hillcrest area this week.

 

Mayfield Football – Mayfield football coach Larry Pinto discusses his team’s prospects for the upcoming season as the Wildcats attempt to get back to the playoffs after a two-year absence.

Taste of Victory – Shawn Laboda won the Second Annual Cupcake Wars at Hillcrest Hospital with a little help from his wife on Thursday.

Car Show – Mayfield Heights hosted its Fourth Annual Car Show in the DeJohn Community Center parking lot with some 86 classic cars and Ricky & The Rockets covering classic rock hits on Thursday night.

Superintendent's LetterDr. Keith Kelly, the new superintendent for Mayfield City Schools, put out a letter that welcomed the upcoming school year and introduced him to the community.

Dog Doings – A Mayfield Village dog owner is told to clean up his act after the resident had been placing droppings in the sewer system.
