Area residents, parents and classmates will have three chances this weekend to see Mayfield High School's version of the musical, "Hairspray."

The Friday and Saturday performances begin at 7 p.m., and the Sunday show is at 2 p.m.

Larry Braun is the show's director and will also direct choreography. David Coxe will direct the music, which is a selection of dance and "downtown" rhythm and blues from the '60s.
