With Mother's Day, May 13, just around the corner, it's nice to know of a good place to pick up flowers. And the Readers' Choice poll this week resulted with a clear recommendation of Miklus Florist & Greenhouse.

The SOM Center Road florist was nominated for the poll by three readers and wound up taking more than half of the votes. Finishing in a tie for second were Highland Garden Center and Heinen's Fine Foods.

Judging was based on poll results, comments and reviews in Mayfield-Hillcrest Patch's directory of local businesses.

For next week's Readers' Choice, we'll be looking for the best place to go for Mother's Day brunch.
