Police Blotter: Woman Shot With BB Gun

Information supplied by Mayfield Village Police Department

A woman believed juveniles shot a BB gun at her from a moving car as she was running on Derby Dr. in the Aintree Park Area in the late evening of June 19. The shot came from a car heading in the other direction and was occupied by what she thought were at least three juveniles. They were driving a maroon older model sedan. The woman didn’t wish to file a report, and she said she didn’t need medical attention. She said she suffered only a welt. Police and the victim couldn’t find the car.

Bug off: A woman reported the Mayfield Village police station’s lobby was full of crawling bugs and wouldn’t sit down in the early morning hours of June 20. It was determined that the lobby and dispatch areas needed to be sprayed for many different kinds of bugs. It was said the walkway into the police department was covered with beetles and centipedes possibly coming from mulch areas.

Car hit: A Beta Dr. resident reported that someone hit his Budget
Rental car the Monday evening before making a complaint on June 19.
