Police Blotter: Stray Balls, Stolen Sewer Grate and Dog in Danger

A Summit Drive resident called on May 2 about neighbor trouble. The caller was upset because juveniles next door kept climbing a fence to retrieve balls. An officer told to the children's parents about the complaint and were told the kids would stop jumping the fence.
An officer was stopped on May 2 and told that a sewer grate was stolen the previous night from the parking lot at Executive Caterers on Landerhaven Drive. Special attention was requested for similar thefts.
A caller at 9:42 p.m. May 1 thought a woman might had been intoxicated because she fell three times in a Mayfield Road parking lot. The woman had a cut on her head, but she didn't want medical treatment and fire personnel escorted her to her apartment.
A 1992 Lexus was hit in the parking lot of Wendy's on SOM Center Road at 1:40 p.m. May 1. The 2004 Dodge station wagon that caused the accident took off, the owner of the Lexus said. Police were unable to find the Dodge.
A man called at 7:26 p.m. April 30 and said his dog broke through a fence in a playground on Sturbridge and was down in the ravine, drowning. The animal warden was called, but the owner was able to retrieve the dog.
