Police Blotter: Semi Driver Said Motorist Flashed Gun

Mayfield Heights police reported at 1:51 p.m. Feb. 16 about getting a call that a man driving a red Chevy pickup flashed a gun at the driver of a semi on Interstate 271. The caller also was received in Mayfield Village, but the truck was already in Willoughby Hills.

Progressive Insurance transferred a 911 caller at 8:54 a.m. Feb. 17. The person had broken down on the freeway in National City, CA. The caller was transferred to the National City Police Department.

An officer noted at 8:41 a.m. Feb. 17 that Wilson Mills Road was full of potholes westbound from Gates Mills. The service department was told about the problem.

A computer was reported missing at 3:04 p.m. Feb. 16 from a business on Beta Drive.

A blue car with an older driver was going north in the southbound lanes on Interstate 271, Mayfield Heights police reported at 12:59 p.m. Feb. 14. The car then changed directions and headed south in the northbound lanes. Mayfield Village police were unable to find the car.
