Week in Review: Bank Robbery, Holiday Parade, Fourth of July Fireworks, Farmer’s Market, Flash Mob
Here’s what happened in the Mayfield-Hillcrest area this week.
Bank Robbery – The FBI and the Highland Heights Police Department are still searching for two men who robbed the U.S. Bank on Wilson Mills Rd. on Tuesday. If you have any information, call the Cleveland FBI at 216-522-1400 or the Highland Heights Police Department at 440-461-2440.
Gates Mills Parade – The Village held its annual Fourth of July parade on Wednesday to celebrate the country’s birthday.
Fourth of July Fireworks – Despite inclement weather and a few fracases, the fireworks display dazzled many from around the area Wednesday.
Farmer’s Market – The Saturday outdoor market is struggling to find vendors and canceled its scheduled opening on Saturday and hopes to begin in August.
Flash Mob – Hillcrest Hospital and several Curves studios performed two flash mob performances in the Hillcrest Atrium to raise awareness for women’s health on Tuesday.
