Moms Talk' Q & A: What are Your Favorite Places to Take the Family to Eat?
Everyone can participate in poll starting Thursday.
Each week the council will answer a question on parenthood posed to them by readers or another member of council.
This week, the Moms Council weighs in on the topic of this week's Readers' Choice survey – Where do you take the kids out to eat? You can vote on a poll that will be posted Thursday morning.
I talked to one mom whose children were very excited when Sonic Drive-In came to town because they had such a fun experience one time when they went to another restaurant with carhop service.
But it doesn't have to be a place to a special attraction or a playground or a fast-food joint. I'm sure many families enjoy going to a sit-down meal at a family restaurant.
Here's what the Moms had to say:
Kim Zannetti: Yours Truly has a nice menu for younger ones, booths for easier seating and activities for the kids at the table. Red Robin has the cute bird with balloons that the kids like, (although some are not thrilled with the bird). They also have a menu for the younger ones, and include specials like on Tuesday, kids eat free.
Mary Yoder's has a great gift shop (that parents must accompany their children to,) and it is also a different setting in Amish country. The food is great, and the kids love to see the horses, etc.
