Man Was By Gas Well Because He Can't Drink at Home

A suspicious man was hanging around near a gas well at 5:52 p.m. April 9 on Ridgebury Boulevard. The man said he lives with his father, who does not allow drinking in the house. So he decided to drink by the gas well. told him it was private property and he left the area.

A husky was reported running at large at 11:05 p.m. April 9 in the Fox and Hound area of Eastgate Plaza. Police checked and were unable to find the dog.

A caller at 12:31 p.m. April 10 said two very large dogs that looked like "wolf dogs" were running loose on SOM Center Road. One of the dogs was caught at 12:51 a.m. near and the other was caught at 1:28 a.m. and police called the owner.

Ferrara's Italian Foods called police at 3:48 p.m. April 9 because a woman was complaining about her lawn jockey statues and causing a disturbance. She left before police arrived.

A SOM Center Road woman called at 8:18 p.m. April 8 to complain about a strong odor of marijuana that was coming through vents in her bathroom. Police said there was a faint smell of marijuana but an officer could not tell which apartment was the source.
