It's Election Day – Don't Forget to Vote

Mayfield district has 5.9 mill levy on ballot.

Today is primary election day in Ohio, where voters will be choosing a Republican nominee for president.

Locally, Issue 11 is a 5.9 mill levy that would raise $7.8 annually for the Mayfield City School District. Hillcrest Patch residents also will vote on candidates in the 6th and 12th Ohio House Districts and the 24th Ohio Senate District, although all are unopposed in today's primary.

There are races with multiple candidates – five Democrats are seeking to become Cuyahoga County prosecutor. There also are many contested races for judge of Common Pleas and other courts.

Polls will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. If you're uncertain of your polling place, you can find out where to vote by entering your address at the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections website.
