Pediatric patients at Hillcrest Hospital received a few gifts recently from a nearby girl scout troop.
An eight-girl Chagrin Falls Cadette Troop collected 126 DVDs for the patients as part of an annual projects. The students placed posters and collection boxes outside of Chagrin Falls Public Schools and the St Joan of Arc School.
The project was inspired by one of the scouts who had surgery and decided the group should do something for the pediatric unit. The girls collected, cleaned and delivered the movies to Hillcrest.
