Council Will Vote On GetGo Project On July 24
Highland Medical Center vote to come July 10
Highland Heights City Council expects to vote on the Shoppes at Brainard Crossing project at its July 24 regular meeting after delaying the vote Tuesday, Council President Cathy Murphy said.
Council is attempting to get the project that features the GetGo convenience store/gas station on the November ballot.
Developer Lance Osborne of the Osborne Capital Group gave council some of the exhibits it requested after the council’s work session meeting on June 19.
Osborne is scheduled to visit council chambers again for a work session meeting on July 17, and it’s expected that he’ll bring along the final drawings, and details of the signage and landscaping will be ironed out, Murphy said.
The ballot issue must be submitted to the board of elections by Aug. 6
Council will be expected to vote at the July 10 meeting to put the rezoning of the Highland Medical Center on the November ballot, Murphy said. The measure will attempt to add some 32 parking spaces at the site.
“We have that all buttoned up and ready to go,” Murphy said.
Council won’t hold a work session on July 3.
Also, council gave Finance Director Anthony Ianiro a send-off celebration upon his pending retirement. Friday will be his last day before he is replaced by Joseph Filippo.
