Mayfield Heights will host a daylong celebration with the opening of Wildcat Park, the $36 million, three-year project that includes the renovation of the football stadium and athletic area behind Mayfield High School.

The Pride of Mayfield marching band will lead the parade. Residents can enjoy refreshments, games, sporting events and prizes throughout the day and evening.

The Mayfield Wildcats varsity football team will face the Olmsted Falls Bulldogs at 7 p.m.
