5 Things You Need to Know This Week
Business networking, Neighborhood Watch and more
1. Alfredo's at the Inn, 780 Beta Drive, Mayfield Village, will host a business-to-business networking meeting from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Plantscaping and Blooms is sponsor of the event.
2. Mayfield Heights Neighborhood Watch will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Ross DeJohn Community Center, 6306 Marsol Road. The meeting is open to any interested residents.
3. Cuyahoga County Public Libraries, including the Mayfield and Gates Mills branches, will be closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday, Sept. 5 for the Labor Day holiday weekend.
4. Students in grades five and up can help made no-sew blankets for donation to a local animal shelter at Gates Awesome Teens from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Cuyahoga County Public Library Gates Mills Branch, 1491 Chagrin River Road. Registration is requested – to register, click here.
5. There will be an American Red Cross blood drive from 2-7 p.m. Friday at the Mayfield Village Civic Center, 6622 Wilson Mills Road.
