Mayfield High named one of the best high schools in the nation
"Newsweek" named Mayfield High School one of the best high schools in the U.S. following a study of more than 1,000 of the top schools.
New methodology used included analysis of six components: graduation rate (25 percent), college matriculation rate (25 percent), and AP tests taken per graduate (25 percent), plus average SAT/ACT scores (10 percent), average AP/IB scores (10 percent), and AP courses offered per graduate (5 percent). Newsweek released the report on June 19th.
