A driver's education class for those ages 15 1/2 and older starts May 2 at Mayfield High School. It runs from 3:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. on May 2, 3, 4, 5, 9, 10, 11 and 12 in room 101. Cost is $330 for residents and $340 for nonresidents.

The class provides 24 hours of classroom training and eight hours of private, in-car instruction. It will cover all the State of Ohio required subject areas and is required to obtain a driver's license.
